Since June 2020, Partnerships for Forests (P4F) partnered with local NGO KKI Warsi to establish a landscape-level Protection Forum with a vision of integrated landscape management and a mission to stabilize the landscape to promote investment. The Forum is doing so by promoting collaboration amongst land managers for more effective environmental and social protection.
In landscape Bukit Tiga Puluh, where local tribes called Orang Rimba and Talang Mamak live marginalized, the approach must be done from a landscape perspective. We successfully verified 730 individuals of Orang Rimba group in the landscape and Talang Mamak’s 49 Households, 202 individuals.
One of the Protection Forum’s goals is to establish an integrated value chain at a landscape level, connecting farmers, cooperatives, and markets in producing and delivering regenerative products.
